§1 · Home

Helping people reconnect with themselves, with each other, and with what matters.

This is a set of spaces for retreats, workshops, essays, and conversations, where people think more deeply, listen more carefully, and leave changed.

§2 · Retreats & Experiences

For the ones who need to slow down.

Reflection, creativity, and story. Held in rooms designed for honesty, not output.

§3 · Organisations

For teams that want people, not performance.

Human-centred storytelling and listening work for workplaces that have forgotten how to hear each other.

§4 · Read

Essays, poetry, letters, podcast.

The soul of the work, made public. A way in for readers, listeners, and quiet subscribers.

“Fill your paper with the breathings of your heart.” William Wordsworth
§2 · Retreats & Experiences

People don't come to become writers. They come to reconnect with themselves.

The retreats look like retreats. But what happens inside them is quieter and more consequential: attention paid to your own life, in the company of others doing the same.

2019

The year the first retreat was held. Since then: seven years of small rooms and long silences.

Spaces are kept small, on purpose.

§2A · The Lyrical Ballads Tour

Walking with Wordsworth and Coleridge.

Each spring and summer, we take a small group into the Lake District: walking, writing, and visiting the ground that shaped two of English poetry's most important voices, and the book that changed what poetry was allowed to be.

§3 · Organisations

Not helping companies communicate better. Helping the people inside them connect better.

Most workplace communication programmes optimise for clarity. This one optimises for honesty. The results are quieter, slower, and harder to undo.

“For the first time in eight years at this company, I heard my team say what they actually think.” Head of People, Financial Services

This is an invitation, not a proposal.

§4 · Read

Essays, poetry, letters, and conversations. Read at the pace of a walk.

A journal in the older sense of the word. New writing most weeks; occasional podcast conversations; nothing algorithmic, nothing urgent.

Recently we've written about being interrupted mid-sentence, about what listening actually costs, about what a fireside conversation can do that a meeting can't, about poetry as slow attention. Sign up free below and it lands in your inbox.

§5 · A Note from the Founder

Be more connected in an increasingly disconnected world.

Having studied English Literature, with a deep love for the Lakeland poets, I have always been drawn to the power of words, the richness of silence, and the importance of being fully present. Wordsworth and Coleridge taught that nature is not simply a place to visit, but a companion in understanding ourselves. That belief sits at the heart of everything I create.

My hope is that every gathering, conversation, and journey leaves people feeling more connected to themselves, to one another, and to the world around them.
