Inspired by the Romantic poets. Made for modern life  ·  sheet no. 41

A little more life. A little less noise.

Through small retreats, poetry, books, walking and conversation, we make room for the things that are increasingly difficult to find.

COME ON A RETREAT

Small, unhurried retreats in beautiful places across the UK.

Walk. Write. Talk. Think. Sit quietly. Spend a day or a few days somewhere with enough room in it to hear yourself think.

No experience of writing is needed. You don't have to be a poet.

Walking with Wordsworth and Coleridge.

Each spring and summer, we take a small group into the Lake District: walking, writing, and visiting the ground that shaped two of English poetry's most important voices, the poets behind the book that changed what poetry was allowed to be.

Be more connected in an increasingly disconnected world.

For years I ran wellbeing and mental health sessions inside organisations. I built Society of Poets because time and silence do what sessions cannot.

With a deep love for the Lakeland poets, I have always been drawn to the power of words, the richness of silence, and the importance of being fully present. Wordsworth and Coleridge taught that nature is not simply a place to visit, but a companion in understanding ourselves. That belief sits at the heart of everything I create.

My hope is that every gathering, conversation, and walk leaves people feeling more connected to themselves, to one another, and to the world around them.
